Creating unique textures for all objects on the scene would significantly strain the computer's computing power, that is why it is recommended to use Detail parameter in Quazar3D materials.
While preparing models and textures for the scene make sure that they can be easily optimized. All models that will need additional detail on the texture should have a second channel of the UV map along with the default first one. It is important because additional textures will be applied with the use of coordinates form the second channel.
After importing the scene to Quazar3D select the object and create additional textures which will act as a detail. Just like with the default textures the selection includes diffuse, specular and normal maps. In case of subtle details such as stains or cracks it is reccomended to use transparent background. Next select the modified material, in the tab "States -> Options" turn on the detail by changing "Skip" to any other choice. Now in the tabs "Textures" and "Parameters" new options will appear. In the tab "Textures" add previously prepared textures. In the tab "Parameters" adjust the setting with the use of slide bars.

Overlay and Multiply

Overlay and Multiply operate on the same principal as their counterparts in other graphical programs such as Photoshop. They are responsible for how the first channel will mix with the second, therefore prefixes "first" and "second". It is best to chceck all four options and select the best choice for the scene.

It is not always necessary to create addtionals textures to enrich the surface texture. It requires time and consumes a lot of computing power. In case of generic surfaces based on tilings (rocks, walls), it is possible to use the default texture and change only the map's scale (Parameters->Transform->Detail) which will greate a convincing illusion of the surface detail.
